Qu&rsquo;est-ce que Big Data ?  Il s&rsquo;agit de quantit\u00e9s extr\u00eamement importantes de donn\u00e9es, trop volumineuses pour \u00eatre trait\u00e9es par des outils informatiques traditionnels.<\/p>\n<h3>Comment fonctionne Big Data ?<\/h3>\n<p>Imaginez une biblioth\u00e8que gigantesque contenant non seulement tous les livres jamais \u00e9crits, mais aussi chaque article de journal, chaque email, chaque photo et chaque vid\u00e9o.  Le Big Data, c&rsquo;est un peu comme cette biblioth\u00e8que, mais au lieu de livres, il contient des donn\u00e9es num\u00e9riques.  Ces donn\u00e9es sont si volumineuses et complexes qu&rsquo;il faut des outils et des m\u00e9thodes sp\u00e9cifiques pour les stocker, les analyser et en extraire des informations utiles.  On parle souvent des \u00ab\u00a03V\u00a0\u00bb du Big Data\u00a0: Volume (la quantit\u00e9), V\u00e9locit\u00e9 (la vitesse \u00e0 laquelle les donn\u00e9es sont g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es et trait\u00e9es) et Vari\u00e9t\u00e9 (les diff\u00e9rents types de donn\u00e9es : texte, images, vid\u00e9os, etc.).  Parfois, on ajoute d&rsquo;autres V comme V\u00e9racit\u00e9 (la fiabilit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es) et Valeur (l&rsquo;utilit\u00e9 des informations extraites).<\/p>\n<h3>Pourquoi Big Data est-il important ?<\/h3>\n<p>En IA et en prompt engineering, le Big Data est essentiel pour entra\u00eener des mod\u00e8les performants.  Par exemple, un mod\u00e8le de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de texte comme ceux utilis\u00e9s pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 vos questions a besoin d&rsquo;\u00eatre entra\u00een\u00e9 sur d&rsquo;\u00e9normes quantit\u00e9s de donn\u00e9es textuelles pour apprendre \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer du texte coh\u00e9rent et pertinent.  Plus les donn\u00e9es d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement sont volumineuses et vari\u00e9es, plus le mod\u00e8le sera performant.
